Ostra Do Vale Do Juiz

Ostra Do Vale Do Juiz was our first female for the
foundation of Misty Mountain Estrelas. |
|
Her name translates to: Oyster of the Valley of the
Judge. And what a
pearl she has turned out to be.
|
|
Ostra was three and a half
years old
when she was imported to America.
Coming
to a new country, a new lan-
guage, new people, new
smells and new
food has been quite a feat for our
girl. |
At
first, she made little baby steps in ac-
cepting her
own home. We left for Portugal
and Ostra was left in
my brother's capable hands.
I think during this
time, Ostra missed us and she
has grown leaps and
bounds since we have returned
home. She is conquering her new life, little by little.
It is up
to us to gain her trust not the other way around.
She has sat back to see if 'we' were worthy of what she has to offer. |
The
first trait I was aware of was her huge love for my
husband. All you have to do is look in her eyes and
see the amount of love she is capable of giving.
She is becoming more and more 'our's by the day and
one day soon, she will belong here, heart, body and
soul. And she will be cared for and loved, heart,
body and soul. |
